I guess before 2020, many of us didn’t even know the meaning of the Pandemic. It actually means a disease prevalent over a whole country or the world.
If I would discuss the early days of this pandemic, it was no less than a vacation. Every single family member staying at home has a party time, assuming that everything will be back to normal in a couple of days.
Then these days change into weeks and weeks into the month. Similarly, now happiness has also turned into depression and dejection.
The economic and social disruption caused by this pandemic is devastating. Millions of people faced poverty, without the means to earn an income during the lockdown, and many were unable to feed their families. Unfortunately for many people, no income means, no food at all. A dramatic loss of human life occurred worldwide. Every other day we were getting the demise of someone or the other.
As they say, rather than complaining if we would count our blessings our whole life would turn around. Likewise, many positive positive things have been encountered during this pandemic. Many of us have voluntarily prepared food and also delivered it to the ones who need it. The basic raw food items were also been distributed. And not only this, but I believe all of us were giving salaries to our house helps even when they were not coming to work.
This pandemic not just glorifies humanity and brotherhood but also helps us in strengthening our trust in Almighty Allah. Indeed, He is the only “Raaziq” of all of us.
“life is not as easy to live, but the opportunity to do so is a blessing beyond comprehension”.
